Tilak Educational Society  has proposed to Secondary Teachers Educational Programme (BEd) at its Ghansoli Educational Complex. The programme is scheduled to start for academic year 2008-2009 subject to approval from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and University of Mumbai

Duration: 1 year. At least 200 working days each year exclusive of the period of examination and admission, out of which at least 40 days shall be for practice teaching/skill development in 10 secondary schools. A working day shall be of a minimum of 6 hours in a six day week

Eligibility: Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.

There shall be relaxation of marks/reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC and other categories as per the Rules of the Central Government/State Government/UT Administration concerned.
