SHAH BABU EDUCATION SOCIETY, PATUR DIST. AKOLA was established in 1957 with the major intention to bring about welfare, development and empowerment of the Minority Community. The Basic motive behind the establishment of the Society was to enable the Youth & children of the Minority Community to attain high strides in the field of Education and Sports. The Society strived to make the Minority Community's existence known in the Educational set up where they were a neglected community. Fortunately the Society has kept up to its commitment and the Society has spread its wings far and wide in the Educational scenario.

SHAH BABU EDUCATION SOCIETY, PATUR DIST. AKOLA was the first Society to establish the first ever Urdu Medium School in Patur Block. Our Society is one among the very few Minority Organizations in the whole of Akola district working for the cause of Minority Upliftment. The Society is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year in 2007. The Society has successfully brought ahead its good work from the last 50 years. As an innovative step towards a renaissance in the Educational field for the Minority Community, the Society had begun 3Urdu Medium Schools at Patur and Akola and Alegaon viz. Shah Babu Urdu Primary School, Patur, Dist. Akola; Shah Babu Urdu High School, Patur Dist. Akola; Shah Babu Urdu High School, Hamza Plot, Akola Dist. Akola & Shah Babu Urdu High School, Alegaon Dist. Akola. In addition to this, the Society also has also started Junior Colleges viz. Shah Babu Urdu Junior College, Patur Dist. Akola; Shah Babu Urdu Junior College, Hamza Plot, Akola & Teacher Education Program & Study Centre Shah Babu College, Patur (MANUU). The only motive in mind to build this set up was that our Society intended and also desires in future to benefit all the Minority Community through our educational activities in order to elevate their Academic status.
