On 7 Dec. 1996 the foundation stone was laid by S. Harbhajan Singh D.I.G. Police Kumaon. College building was completed in July 1997. The classes were started under the principalship of S. Harcharan Singh. The building of the Kanya Degree college was inaugrated by Shri Suraj Bhan Ji (Governor of Uttar Pradesh) on 25th June 1998. With the continuous efforts of the Baba Tarsem Singh (President of Guru Nanak Dev Nyas), S. Daljeet Singh Maan (Manager), S. Harcharan Singh (Principal), the collage got affiliated to Kumaun University, Nainital on 13/1/1999 for BA in Hindi, English, Home Science, Economics, Sociology, Education, Pol. Science. College get Affilation for M.A. Home Science and Education on 29.7.2006 from Kumaun University.
