Denning College for Teachers’ Education is established at Tezu in Lohit District which is one of the important districts situated in the eastern most part of Arunachal Pradesh. It is predominantly inhabited by Digaru Mishimis and Miju Mishimis of Arunachal Pradesh. The very objectives of the college is promotion of education, while maintaining traditional values and rich cultural heritage.The college has started the Teachers’ Training Courses to facilitate and equip the teachers with latest skills of teaching school children of remote parts of our motherland. Tezu, the headquarter is well connected with all weather road. The district is well known for three things: a) Famous archaeological sites viz. Khundil, Temple Tamreshwari b) A pilgrimage and a historical site- Parashuram Kund c) Rich flora and fauna.
