Based in Bangalore, Rajajinagar College of Education was incepted in the year 1986 with an aim of promoting quality based education. The college is run by KTSV Sangha. Its president sri . S Siddagangaiah and secretary sri. Kempaiah have excellent potentialities, democratic attitude and vision that are the guiding and inspiring force behind this institution. This institution offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). It is recognized by NCTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Bangalore University and admitted to Grant-in-Aid from Government of Karnataka. At, Rajajinagar College of Education, Kannada is the medium of instruction and it caters to the diversified needs of the rural and urban poor.
Our college is popular for providing B.Ed. Courses to the Graduates. Students are aided by modern Infrastructure & Facilities. The college premise has a well maintained Library, Computer Resource Centre, Science Laboratory, psychology lab, education technology lab and Lecture Hallsequipped with LCD projector, smart board and OHP. Besides this, Rajajinagar College of Education has a very good Hostel facility for the accommodation and fooding needs of the students.
The main objective of this institution is to produce competent and committed teachers. Over the last nearly 30 years, nearly 3000 students from all over Karnataka, have successfully completed B.Ed. training from our institution. The institution has got highly qualified and well experienced teachers to train the students. Four of our teachers hold a doctorate degree and four of them are associate professors. The teaching and guidance is imparted in regional language. Students pass out with good number of distinction, and 1st class every year. Happily announce that many of our students have got selected as KES officers, government school teachers and other higher level officers in various government departments. The meritorious students are given scholarship.
