In the initial stage, the center started an Audio-Visual unit to show live demonstration through the projector’s screen/big size TV, with the help of VCD at that time and this attracted and encouraged the Tribal people and they flocked gradually in the visiting villages.
The main theme shown in the programme were the benefits of education which encouraged the people to send their children to the educational institution. The staff members of the Audio-Visual unit of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Gangpur also encouraged the Tribal people about the benefits of education and gradually they agreed to send their children to the Primary Schools of the region. In addition, the people were also taught about the cleanliness of the surroundings to repel the general diseases due to garbage and dirtiness.
Sarpanchs and Youths of the village also helped the Bharat Sevashram Sangha workers to start the Children Welfare Centers in almost all village to create a friendly atmosphere with the villagers.
The children coming to these centers are shown the cultural programs, benefits of the literacy, education and Civic Sense so that they should not face any difficulty when going from the small villages to the towns and big cities for further education.
