Pt. Brijkishore Pateria belonged Congress party. He was Sadar Malguzar of village Besra (Malthone). Thus, having a hage land he was agriculturist. He felt positional poor stage of the cultivators of the villages surrounding Khurai and Bina. he began to start leadership for the welfare of them.Up to regular fighting in the favour of cultivators and labourers, he became a renowned lader and had been elected an M.L.A. from Bina constituency in the year 1961 After some times he selected as a state Home and Transport affairs Minister of M.P. Govt.His achievment to do welfare of people he had left no stone unturned to do so. Except work among various developments of his region, in the field education he made open so many Primary and Middle Schools in the rural and urban areas. He made start to open two higher secondry schools one at Malthone and another one at Khimlasa. But his earnest desire was to be started college in Malthone where higher secondry passed boys and girsl could not effort to go for their higher education at Sagar or other far away cities.But unfortunately he remained no more and his earnest desire gone with him.After some time his younger brother Shri Awadh Kishore Pateria founded this B.K.P. College at Malthone in the memory of his dlder brother Late Shri Pt. Brij Kishore Pateria to fulfill his remaining desire.
