Sonali Public Shikha Samiti was Constituted in 1978 (Regn.No.6304/02/02/78). The Society started Sonali Public School in the year 1979 with a view to provide quality education to the children and to promote the children’s belonging to the weaker section of the society. The Society provides the education at no profit no loss basis. During the period of 27 Years of its establishment the Society has carried out various activities successfully like Behavior change program in children to the age group 1 to 5 Years. The program was sponsored by the UNICEF, Old Age Home program which was sponsored by Help Age International. The Society is also working with the M.P.State Social Welfare Board relating to Palna Ghar., Stitching Course, Short term education courses etc. With a view to meeting the every day increasing demand of qualified professionals in the field of Education in fast changing environment of global liberalization the Society has decided to start a post graduate College in Guna with the approval of Govt.of M.P.Higher Education Dept., NCTE and related to Jiwaji University, Gwalior. From the Academic Session (2006-2007) the Society is about to start Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) courses, for which application for granting of NOC with all the required documents has been submitted to NCTE. The Society has already acquired 3 Acres of land and has constructed its own building in part area. The constructed area consists of 54 rooms (3 Halls & 51 Rooms) including Principal room, Office, Staff, Lab, Store room & class rooms etc.
