Vedica College of Education Bhopal is one of the prominent college running under " Ayushmati Education and Social Society" at city of lakes Bhopal. To enhance in teaching quality, the Ayushmati Education and Social Society has started educational courses for Teacher's Training Programme. At first instance, the course of B.Ed (Basic) started in 2003 and gradually to fulfill the need of the society, Diploma in Education(D.El.ED.) started in 2008 and Master in Education (M.Ed.) in 2009 were introduced. The Institution is giving the true meaning of education term to achieve not only moral value but also shaping the job oriented teachers in the field of education. The College has a well equipped infrastructure according to the NCTE norms. We are maintaining high standards in the field of education. Our college is affiliated with Barkatullah University Bhopal and also recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education. The vision of the college is to offer quality teacher education to flourish, develop and empower the student – teacher fraternity and to foster life -long learning. The mission of the college is to organize teachers training programme under the guidelines of NCTE, to develop quest for knowledge and provide academic environment to teacher educator and pupil teachers, to develop an understanding of the principles of pedagogy and its application to curriculum transaction and evaluation, to Provide opportunities to the faculty and the students to undertake action research projects contributing to new insights into the teaching learning process and to enhance and sustain the quality of the teachers training programme.
