Mayank Shekhar Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 2000 at Gram Korauva, distt Kanpur Dehat by an eminent influence social worker and chief administrative officer Late Shree Shivsharma Ji Mishra in memory of his late son Shree Mayank Shekhar Mishra.

Late Shree Mishra Ji has always worked for the betterment of villages of kanpur Dehat, he has realized very deeply, the troubles of education and medical facilities of villages in kanpur Dehat in his student life, mainly the lack of education on employment oriented courses science, commerce and technical subjects.

A sad incident of shiv Sharma Ji life becomes the source of the foundation of this organization. Shree mishra ji’s son “late Mr. Mayank Shekhar ji” who died in an early age in the year 1998 due to cancer was a very brilliant student.An educational institution had been registered by the name of “Mayank Shekhar Smriti Samajik "educational institution" was established and registered In the year 1999 with aiming to create an interest in education in society, and for that to establish schools and colleges  to provide education and training on subjects like science, commerce, technology, agriculture, arts, social, physical, for a high standard and character building.
