Ch. Devi Lal College of Education came into the existence from the session 2004-05 in a rental building housed at Bhagwan Parshuram Education Centre, Ambala Road, Jagadhri and now it has shifted to its own premises at Bhagwangarh, Buria Road, Jagadhri.
In the first session of establishment 86% of the students got passed with First Division and overall result of the college was 100%.
In the 2nd session i.e. 2005-06 also the students of college has touch a new height by securing 95% of first division. Three students of this session got distinctions and out of which two students of the college got THIRD and SIXTH positions in KURUKSHETRA UNIVERSITY, KURUKSHETRA.
The institute is a Co-Educational Institution for Education and Training Secondary School Teachers. Currently, the sanctioned intake capacity for the course is 100 students. For the session 2007-08 college is planning to have 100 addition intake in B.Ed. and M.Ed. Course also.
