Thakur Durgpal Singh Memorial B.Ed.College, Alwar is a unit of Public Rose Shiksha Samiti Which was set up in April 1988, with an object to spread education in the field of teaching,medical, nursing and management. Public Rose Shiksha Samiti is a society registered under the Rajasthan Society Registration Act, 1958 at Alwar Rajasthan with registration Number 06/Alwar/1988-1989. The society started its activities by establishing a nursing institute for G.N.M. three and half years diploma course intake 50 students per year. Nursing College for B.Sc. Nursing four Year Degree course intake 50 students per year, Post Bsc., Nursing 2 year Degree cources intake 30 students per year, sai charitible hospital like the mightly ganga, Which starts as a small stream in the great Himalyas, Public Rose Shiksha samiti too started from humble beginning 23 years ago, with a small number of students, struggle the hard way to learn the status.
