The National Council for Teacher Education was vested with statutory authority for achieving planned and - coordinated development of the Teacher Education System through out the country,' the regulation and standards in the Teacher Education system and for matters connected there with. In this Connection, NCTE has formulated norms and standards for all the colleges of Education and gave provisional recognition to our institution also. After getting the provisional recognition from the NCTE our college Dr. C. L. Naidu College of Education has been established in the year 2003 under the Management of Sri Kota Durga Educational Society, Palakonda. The Management has constructed a building of its own with all the facilities. The college Management has started the B.Ed Course in the year 2003 with the following objectives:­

1. To possess sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge of Teaching Competencies.
2. To develop Skills, Understandings, Interests and Attitudes, which would enable the student teachers to foster, all round growth and development of the children under his/her care.
3. Be enabled to foster creative thinking among pupils for the reconstruction of the knowledge.
4. To develop communication skills and to use modern information technology, and
5. To foster a desire for life - long learning.
