            The Rokkam Likshmi Narasimham Dora Educational Society was established in the memory of Late Rokkam Lakshmi Narasimham Dora. He was the first speaker of the legislative assembly of the erstwhile Andhra State of which Karnool was the capital. He hailed from a family of freedom fighters. He was well known educational institutions and charitable and social organizations in may places besides him home town. He donated land generously and offered accommodation for a school in his native place.

            The chief aim of establishing the collage of education under the sponsorship of the society is to provide good education to the aspiring students with a motto of social service.
