KSERT College has been established in the year 2002 at Humhama (Budgam), about 6 Km from the Capital City of Srinagar. The College is affiliated to the University of Kashmir, Srinagar and stands recognized by the UGC, under section 2(f) of UGC Act of 1956 under reference No.F-8/259/2005(CPPI) dated 7-5-2005. College imparts instructions in B.Ed and BBA Courses.The College Campus is spread over 10 Kanals of land having three magnificent buildings, one three and two double storied which includes academic block, administrative block, library, auditorium, girls hostel and Lab. School. The Class rooms are spacious and highly congenial for lectures and discussions.The college has a rich library comprising the books on reference, text and general nature. The news papers, magazines and journals are also available in the library for the students perusing the B.Ed. course.Since this College has students from different states of India and the Indian cultural is actually an outcome of the continuous synthesis of different cultures. Large number of students from states like H.P, Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana and J&K participate in cultural activities with keen interest and enthusiasm. This presents a unique scenario of blending different cultures. Sporting events, debates and seminars are regular features of this college.The College is run by a society namely Society for Promotion of Culture and Education, Registered under registration of Societies Act VI of 1998 July 24, at 57-Rawalpora, Srinagar.
