The Zamorins Guruvayurappan College Admission

The original institution was founded by the Zamorin of Eranad, HH Shri. Manavikraman Maharaja Bahadur, as an English school in June 1877, to impart English education to the young members of the Zamorin's family. In 1878, it came to be known as "Kerala Vidyasala" and was thrown open to Hindu boys of all castes.In 1879, the institution was affiliated to the University of Madras as a second grade college. In 1900, the institution was renamed "The Zamorin's College". In 1904, the Zamorin constituted a Board of Management for the administration of the college. The present site of the college at Pokkunnu was purchased with the help of a grant from the Guruvayur Devaswom.In recognition of this gift, the institution was renamed "The Guruvayurappan College". In 1955, the college moved to its present site, at Pokkunnu. In 1958, the college was affiliated to the University of Travancore, which later came to be known as the University of Kerala. Later in 1968, when the University of Calicut was formed, the college was affiliated to it.The college acquired its present name "The Zamorin's Guruvayurappan College" in 1981.

Candidates will be granted admission to all UG and PG courses in the college based on a common entrance test to be conducted by the University of Calicut followed by a merit list.

The minimum eligibility for BA and BBA programs is 10+2 from a recognized board with an aggregate of 50% marks with English as a compulsory subject.

For B.Com, candidates must have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board with at least one commerce subject.

Candidates applying for the M.Sc program must hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with at least 50% marks.Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks to seek admission to MA program in the college.

Candidates applying for M.Com program must hold B.Com or BBA (BBS) degree of University of Calicut with 45% marks.Zamorins Guruvayurappan College, Kozhikode offers BA in 6 specializations with an intake of 60 seats per course and BBA at the UG level.

Candidates who wish to pursue BA and BBA must have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 50% with English as a compulsory subject.

Admission will be granted based on a Common Entrance Test conducted by the University of Calicut followed by counseling based on merit list prepared on the basis of the qualifying examination.

The college also offers B.Com program at the UG level with an intake of 60 seats per course. In guruvayurappan college,there is higher educational options for maths students,there have post graduation,research in mathematics subject, In commerce students having a door to achieve job opportunities using placement on job fair.No our college doesn't offer any placements because it's degree which they offer us if we pass and after these terms we should go some we're else to get a job since it's not like engineering and CS here we won't have such things.Asper this is not an engineering college it's an arts and science college so the placement is not so established as the other engineering colleges but the college has gaven alot of chances for internship.No our college doesn't give any internship and placement no undergraduate college in kerala giving any campus placement and our college too its our risk to find a job and also no stipend are get to us.

College host job fairs by private institute in colleges no other internships are not provided here studiying only mainly not focusing on internship or to future.extra curricular activities like arts sport are going good.Job Opportunities are Cumulous in here.After the graduate courses there are many Job Opportunities in here.Many International Companies Recruiting Servants from this institution.This Institution Helps Students to gain Job.I'm not much clear about the company details or placement details as I'm not in a course where they provide placements or other facilities.so I cannot share the correct details about that. In our college there are BSC, BCOM, BA courses were available. In BA course there are no placements done.
