Presentation College Of Applied Sciences, Affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, is owned and managed by Diocese of Kottapuram. The college is situated in the heart of a beautiful village free from all types of pollution, on the eastern side of Puthenvelikara – Mala road. The foundation stone of the college was blessed and laid by The Most Rev.Dr. Francis Kallarakkal, former Bishop of Kottapuram. The college started its formal functioning on 18th of November 2002.

Admission Process of Presentation College of Applied Sciences  

ADMISSION PROCEDUREApplication forms and prospectus for management will be issued from the college office during the working hours on payment of RS 500/- and filled applications should be submitted to the office.

Mahatma Gandhi University has implemented the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) for admission to the merit seats of its affiliated colleges since 2011. Therefore admissions for merit seats are conducted as per the rules of the university. Application for admission should be submitted through online in www.mgu.ac.in

COLLEGE LIBRARY

We have a spacious library with a large collection of books in diverse disciplines. The Library functions from 09.00 a.m to 4.30 p.m. on all working days. Students are permitted inside the library only with their ID cards,keeping their personal belongings outside. Strict silence should be maintained in and around the Library. Books are issued to the students on library cards.

CAREER COUNSELLING AND PLACEMENT CELL

Placement cell continuously monitors the employment opportunities in various domains and arrange campus interviews for eligible students both under graduate and post graduate level. The objective of the cell is to help the students in career planning through counselling where in they gather information about themselves in terms of their interests, aptitude and abilities so that they can choose their career more effectively. Training and opportunities are based on the interest and choice of the students. As per the curriculum, the campus recruitment programme  starts before the commencement of the final semester. Student representatives from each department are selected to provide assistance throughout the selection process.
