Theophilus College of Nursing established in 2002 is a venture of Manoharhill Charitable Trust Kangazha. This college conducts B.Sc Nursing Course with an annual intake of 50 Students. Theophilus College of Nursing is situated in Kottayam district, 15 KM away from Changanassery Railway Station. Established in the year 2002, under the Manohar Hill Charitable Trust, it is accredited by INC/KNMC and is affiliated to KUHS, Thrissur.

Theophilus College of Nursing was named after the saintly Bishop Theophilus, who was a motivating force and the promoter of MGDM Hospital, Kangazha. The College of Nursing has an annual intake of 50 B.Sc Nursing Students.

Admission Process for Theophilus College of Nursing

B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. M.L.T, B.Sc. Optometry, B.Sc. Perfusion Technology, B.C.V.T, B.P.T, B.Sc. Medical Radiological Technology, B.Sc. Dialysis Technology & BOT  - Should have passed Higher Secondary examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examination equivalent thereto as approved by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. 

Should have separate minimum pass mark for Physics Chemistry and Biology and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology put together.

B.A.S.L.P. Course - Should have passed Higher Secondary examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examination equivalent thereto as approved by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur.

Should have separate minimum pass mark for Physics Chemistry and Biology and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics /Computer Science/Statistics /Electronics /Psychology put together.

Government seats are available in all the Government Colleges, Government Controlled Self Financing Colleges, and in Private Self Financing Colleges that are willing to share 50% of their seats with the Government. 

Candidates who seek admission in Private Self-financing Nursing Colleges are bound to accept the conditions stipulated in the agreement between Government and Self Financing Nursing College Management(s) and deemed to have accepted such conditions

In the case of self-financing Nursing Colleges run by institutions having minority status granted by the Government of the National Minorities Commission, 20% of the Government seats shall be filled up from among the candidates belonging to the minority community running the college, on the basis of merit. In case, sufficient candidates are not available from the concerned community, the balance seats will be filled up from State Merit as per the usual norms

Boys Hostel

The college has Boy's hostel is situated on the main campus which can accommodate 25 students.

Girls Hostel

The college has Girl's hostel situated on the main campus which can accommodate all the 200 students.

Medical/Hospital

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

Library

The college has a well-equipped library with a qualified full-time librarian. We have more than 2870 books in our library. In addition, we have arranged for the subscription of Indian and foreign Journals in Nursing. At present we are subscribing to 25 national and international journals. In addition to this, we have a good library in the hospital with a lot of books and medical journals.
