St. Thomas College of Nursing is a unit of the educational institutions of Archdiocese Changanessery. The college was established in the year 2002 with B. Sc Nursing course (50 seats) and was affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. It is open, like all other Educational Institutions under Catholic auspices, to all persons irrespective of religion, caste or community. In 2010 the college got affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) Thrissur. Post graduate programme started in 2012 in Medical Surgical Nursing specialty with four seats.

Admission Process for St. Thomas College of Nursing
The admission would be given strictly in accordance with the merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the online entrance Examination. There shall be one paper of 2 hours duration containing 100 multiple-choice questions. Subjects which will be included for the Entrance Examination.

Hostel
Hygienic and furnished hostel facilities for girls is available in the campus under the supervision of nun sisters. Hostel is adequately supplied with 24 hrs water purifier, generator and water cooler. Students enjoy delicious, quality and homely vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Menu is prepared by the students to satisfy the taste of all students. Other facilities available in the hostels are recreation room with TV and Spacious room to conduct indoor game.
