Cluster University of Srinagar B.Ed. Admission

Cluster University of Srinagar was established in 2016 by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir. The campus of the University is located in Srinagar city of Jammu and Kashmir. There are multiple courses offered by the University at the Undergraduate and graduate levels in different fields including Engineering, Science, Humanities and Liberal Arts, Commerce and Management and Education. All the courses are available at different colleges of the University. 

Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed. Admission

  • Candidates should have passed the Graduation Degree with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade from a recognized university or institute.

Application Process

Applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria thoroughly before applying for any Course.  Applicants are required to have a valid email ID and personal/guardian mobile number which should be working during the admission process, to enable University to send alerts, important communications etc. Application Fee has to be Paid Online. The Preview of the Form "Filled Online" can be viewed in new browser tab, if all details are correct, Click on Final Submit button. If there is still any correction / updation in the Form details; please return to the previous browser tab and make corrections (if required) then click Final Submit button. The Form No. should be noted for future reference / use. Keep ready a digital passport size photograph (White Background) ".jpg", ".bmp" , ".jpeg" or ".png" format of size between 20-70KB, for uploading in prescribed space in the application form.

NOTE- A candidates shall have to deposit non-refundable Entrance Test Fee of Rs 700/- (Seven Hundred only) through online mode. Candidates who apply under reserved category are required to submit Self-Attested photocopy of Reserved Category Certificate along with Hard-Copy of Application Form and other necessary documents in the admission section of Cluster University Srinagar.

Selection Process

Candidates are required to appear in a Common Aptitude Entrance Test and the selection of candidate for admission in B.Ed. programme shall be made strictly on the basis of the combined merit obtained in the CAET and Academic Merit obtained by the candidate in (Graduation) Examination as per the following weightage:

  • Academic Merit in (Graduation) Examination: 40 %
  • Common Aptitude Entrance Test: 60 %

Admission Committee of each Constituent College shall check/verify the original copies of educational/category certificates etc of the candidate at the time of Admission and it will be the sole responsibility of the candidate to satisfy whether he/she is meeting the prescribed criteria. Verification of documents shall be made at any point of time during the admission process. The admission will be rejected if the applicant does not fulfill the eligibility criteria or has misrepresented/suppressed the information regarding category and other details.
