Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur LLM Admission 2024-25

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur, Rajasthan came into being as a State University of Govt. of Rajasthan by an Act No. 6 of 2019 dated 26th February 2019. The University, besides, it’s the residential campus at Jaipur, is mandated to have its jurisdiction in the entire State of Rajasthan to extend affiliation to all Law Colleges. Dr. Dev Swarup, The founding Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University joined on 2nd March 2020. The University has been recognized by UGC under section 2 (f) of UGC Act, 1956, vide notification No. F.9-6/2020(CPP-I/PU) dated 12 May 2020 and also letter No. F.9-6/2020(CPP-I/PU) dated 14th May 2020.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Law or PG Law Diploma Examination with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate for UR and EWS (50% for SC, ST, OBC, MBC & Divyang) from a recognized university in India or an equivalent degree from any university abroad (Equivalence certificate from AIU is Mandatory).

• There are 40 seats in Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur for LL.M. (one year programme).

Admission Procedure

• Admission to the LL.M. (one year programme) shall be on the basis of Merit of marks secured in eligibility degree i.e. Bachelor's Degree in Law or PG Law Diploma Examination. Final Merit List shall be declared after counseling and document. 

Note- In view of the pandemic crisis, the university took into consideration the limitations in conducting Entrance Test for admission in LL.M. programme Therefore it has been decided that the admission may be done on the basis of Merit of the student in qualifying examination. i.e. Bachelor's Degree in Law or PG Law Diploma Examination.
