University of Kota M.P.Ed Admission 2024-25

The University of Kota was established in the year 2003 by the Government of Rajasthan through ‘The University of Kota Act, 2003’ and notified vide State Government Gazzette No. F.2(12)/Vidhi-2/2003 dated 7th June 2003. The University came into existence through enactment of Government of Rajasthan vide order No. F.21(2)Edu-4/2003 dated September 9, 2003 under the provision of section -4(1) of ‘The University of Kota Act, 2003. The University has been included in the list of Universities maintained by the UGC Act, 1956 under the vide notification No. F.9-23/2003(CPP-I) dated 23rd February 2004 and finally received Central Assistance in terms of rules framed under section 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956 as per Decision of Commission (item No.5.17) dated 22nd October 2012.

Eligibility Criteria

  • B.P.Ed (As per centralised admission council and Nodal agency, appointed by the Government of Rajasthan).

NOTE- For the candidates belonging to the states other than Rajasthan, a minimum of 60% marks are required at Graduation level. In the case of Rajasthan state candidates, if minimum required percentage is 50 for some courses then the candidates belonging to other states must have obtained at least 50% marks.

How to Apply

The application process is common for all the courses offered by the university. Candidates are advised to follow the below-listed steps in order to apply:

  • Visit the official website of Kota University.
  • Click on ‘Online Application’ from the drop-down menu.
  • Fill the application form and upload the scanned copy of required documents.
  • Pay the application fee of INR 500 by Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking.
  • Submit and save the registration number for the counselling rounds.
  • Shortlisted candidates have to visit the university in person along with required documents and copy of the duly filled application form.

Admission Procedure

M.P.Ed. admissions shall be offered as per M.P.Ed. Centralized Admission Committee, Govt. of Rajasthan. The Final list will be updated on university official website after documents verification process. Documents to be produced at the time of counseling:

  • Mark sheet & certificates of 10th and 12th examinations
  • Mark sheet & certificates of UG examinations (All Marksheets)
  • Migration Certificate
  • Caste Certificate
  • Income Certificate (if applicable)
  • Aadhar Card
