Arka Jain University PhD Admission 2024-25

Arka Jain University is a state private university located in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. It was established in 2017 and offers courses related to multiple streams of science, commerce, and arts. There are around 20+ courses available across different streams. The university UG, PG, Ph.D., and Diploma courses across various streams.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Master’s Degree / Post Graduation (2 years) / M.Phil with minimum 55% marks of equivalent for General Category and 50% marks for SC / ST Category Candidates.
  • Should obtain no objection certificate from his/her organization.
  • No Candidate shall be eligible to register for the Ph.D. programme if he/she is already registered for any full time programme of study in any University/Institution.

Course Duration

  • Ph.D. programme shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years.
  • Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the university.
  • The women candidates and Persons with Disability (more than 40% disability) may be allowed a relaxation of two years for Ph.D. in the maximum duration. In addition, the women candidates may be provided Maternity Leave/Child Care Leave once in the entire duration of Ph.D. for up to 240 days.

How to Apply

Admission into Arka Jain University takes place both online and offline.

Steps to Apply Offline-

  • Collect the application form and prospectus in person by paying Rs. 600/- at the admission office (Address: D-28, Danish Arcade, Opp Asian Inn Hotel, Dhatkidih, Jamshedpur, State – Jharkhand, Pin 831001 or University campus situated at opp. to Kerala Public school , Mohanpur ,Gamharia, Dist.- Seraikela Kharsawan – 832108. Submit the duly filled form with 1st installment of your fees through demand draft / online payment / any type of cards.

Steps to Apply Online-

  • Fill online form on our website www.arkajainuniversity.ac.in and Pay Rs. 650/- online.
  • Download the dully filled application form and visit our admission office or university campus at the earliest.
  • Once your documents are verified by university admission officer, pay the 1st Installment of fees through demand draft / by card swipe at POS machine (any type of cards).

PhD Fee Structure

  • Admission Fee - Rs. 5000/- only (1st year only)
  • Security Deposit - Rs. 3000/- (Refundable / Adjustable)
  • Course Fee- Rs. 3 Lakhs for the entire course

  • For admission to the Ph.D. program is strictly based on Entrance Test and followed by Personal Interview / Group Discussion.
