Diploma in Library and Information (D.LIB.): What is it About?
This program is designed to prepare the
student to work in a library in a school or college , in the government or
private sector. There are other option available as a consultant or research
assistants.
Cataloguing, organising & storing of
document or books or similar resources is the taught.
This program lays emphasis on the
developing skills like communication skills, problem solving skills, patience,
social skills & the skill of the performing under pressure.

The applicant must have passed the 12th or equivalent level examination with at least
50 % of the marks from a recognised state or central board (relaxable for
reserved category applicants).
Student should not have any backlogs;
before entering the diploma course, they should clear all the subjects.
The entrance test is a mandatory
examination for any candidate who wishes to apply for the program.
In the entry test, student should earn
minimum mark.
For reserved category candidates, they will have to display their reservation certificate issued by qualified authorities.
