Mahatma Gandhi University, popularly known as MG University is a state university located in the Kottayam quarter of Kerala. The university has around 100 related sodalities under its governance spread over five sections in central Kerala. Also known as MG University or MGU, it’s ranked among the top 50 universities in India.

MG University Admissions

Admission to colorful UG, PG and exploration programs offered by the university are done on the base of either seeker’s merit in the qualifying degree or their marks in the university entrance examination viz. CAT- MGU. 

MG University UG Admissions

In case of UG Admissions, eligible campaigners can apply through the sanctioned MG University website by clicking “ UG- CAP 2016 ” link and following the instructions. Those seeking admission through merit/ operation share/ sports share/ can apply directly to the concerned institute. Final selection of the seeker is done on the base of their marks in the qualifying degree merit. 

MG University PG Admissions

In case of PG courses, campaigners are shortlisted else for different specializations. For certain specializations in BA and BSc, campaigners are named on the base of qualifying degree merit while CAT- MGU is conducted for other specializations. Those who wish to apply can log on to “ PG- CAP 2016 ” tab or “ CAT- MGU ” section for registering themselves to the separate program. 

MG University PhD/M.Phil Admissions

For exploration courses viz. PhD and M.Phil, campaigners must appear for the Written Aptitude Test( WAT), conducted by the university itself. Once named, they can register by filling the operation form and appear for the interview round. Final selection will be done by the university commission on the base of the seeker’s performance in WAT and interview. Campaigners must submit the needed figure through challan and attach the damage along with the operation form.

MG University Results

Results of end semester examinations for colorful university courses are declared on the sanctioned university website semester wise. The university follows odd/ even semester pattern for all its courses. Final examinations are conducted in the months of December and June for odd and indeed semesters independently. Results are uploaded on the university website within a month of end semester examinations. 

Campaigners can view their result from the “ test results ” link located under the examination section on the sanctioned university website. Pupil can check their result from the website by following the below given way

Scholars should log on to the sanctioned MG university website and hang their cursor over the “ Examination ” link

Elect the “ test Result ” and click on the separate result link similar as “ Professional Courses ” and “ Revaluation Results ”

On the coming runner, pupil should click on the particular semester link for which he she needs to check the result. Foeeg. – “ BTech( 2015 Admissions)- II Semester Degree Supplementary June 2016( Register No. wise) ”

Next, the seeker should enter his/ her PRN number and click on submit button. Upon submitting the same, seeker’s result will be displayed on the screen
