Netaji Subhas University PhD Admission 2024-25

Netaji Subhas University is a 1st private college of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. The university was established in 2018 to provide world-class amenities to the students. It is affiliated by University Grants Commission (UGC), AICTE, NCTE, and PCI. The university offers education services at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It provides programs in the fields of Allied Sciences, Mass Communication, Engineering and Technology, Law, Pharmacy, IT, Business and Administration, Music, Hospitality and Training.

• Master's Degree in any recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks in concerned subject.

• PhD: 3 YEARS
• Course Fee : 300000/- 
• 75000/- Per Semester (Fee must be completed in 2 years)

How to Apply

Applications for admissions can be filled in both online and offline mode. 

Offline Application: For offline application, firstly, candidates have to register for admission. The applications will be filled through an online process.

Candidates have to bring the admission form along with the required documents to the respective college.

The respective college will verify the documents and approve the admission on the NSU admission portal.

After the approval of admission, candidates have to login again and make the online admission fee payment to confirm their admission.

Documents Required for Admission in NSU for PhD Course

• 10th class mark sheet & passing certificate
• 12th class mark sheet & passing certificate
• Graduation mark sheet & other certificates
• Post-Graduation mark sheet & other certificates
• Recent character certificate
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Passport size self attested photographs

Online Application

• Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form.
• Enter all the required details
• Fill up the application form completely & submit it.
• Candidates will be allotted a user ID & password from the confirmation page.
• The same User ID & Password will be sent to the candidate's registered Email ID for future reference.
• Upload passport size photograph (less than 1 MB) and all the required documents.
• Pay Online & Download Receipt.

Entrance Test

• The Written Test shall be a qualifying test with qualifying marks of minimum of 50%. The written test shall consist of two parts –Paper1) General Aptitude and Research Methodology and Paper- 2) the Specific Core Subject. The weightage shall be 50% on Aptitude test and Research Methodology and 50% on the specific subject.
• The written test would be on 100marks and shall have only multiple choice type questions having one mark each.

Exemption from Entrance test

Candidates who have qualified in UGC/ CSIR (JRF) Examination/ SLET/ GATE / M .Phil (As a Regular Candidate from UGC Recognized University for admission to non-engineering disciplines), may not be required to appear for Entrance Test of the University. However, their appearance in the interview shall be mandatory for admission for such category candidates.
