Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher 2024-25
REET ( Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher ) ,
also known as RTET ( Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test, is conducted by Board of Secondary Education
(BSER). it is a state level competitive exam conducted for the recruitment of
teachers, Level I or Primary Teachers and Level II or Upper Primary Teachers in
the Rajasthan state. Those who qualify
REET (Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher) will be eligible for the post of Teachers in
the Primary (Class I to V) & Secondary Level (Class VI to VIII).This is a
great opportunity for all those aspirants who wish to have a career as a teacher
in the teaching field.

Criteria 2021: Know age limit and educational qualification

The basic eligiblity critia is required for REET is given it
the table. Apart from this educational qualification is depend on the basis of
the level of examinaton. The minimum educational qualification for Level 1 and
level 2 are given below:-
REET Eligibility
Criteria for Level 1 (Classes I to V)
Senior Secondary with
at least 50% marks or its equivalent and 2-year Diploma in Elementary
Education/Diploma in Education whether
passed or appearing in the final year.
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at minimum 50%
marks and with a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Graduate students and passed or appearing in the final year
of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.ED)
REET Eligibility
Criteria for Level 2 (Classes VI to VIII)
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing
in the final of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / in 1-year Bachelor in
Education (B.Ed)
Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum of 50% marks
and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Elementary Education
(B.El.Ed) or B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
How many stages of
selection are there in REET Recruitment?
The selection Process for REET exam will follow a two stage
procedure. Candidates must have qualify both the stages for their final
selection. These stages are as given below -

REET Exam Pattern:-
As we know REET have sepoerate tests for Level I and Level
II Teachers. Candidates who wish to teach for both Level I and Level II will
have to clear both the tests.
REET Exam Pattern 2021 - Level 1 (Class I to V):-
Written test will be divided into five parts which will be
Offline in nature (OMR Based).
A total of 150 questions one marks for each that is 150
marks will be there in the written test for Level I.
The time duration to complete this REET examination is 150
minutes/2 hrs 30 minutes.
There will be no negative marking in the examination.

REET Exam Pattern -
Level 2 (Class VI to VIII)
A total of four parts will be there in Level II exam pattern
and the mode of test will be Offline.
REET Level II exam consists of 150 questions for 150 marks.
You will have 2 hours 30 minutes
to complete this test.
There will be no –ve marking in the exam.

Qualifying Marks for
REET Selection Process
The cut off can vary based on the vacancies that are
available, the category of students (General, ST, SC, OBC), the paper
difficulty of that year and number of applicants who applied for REET. The
candidate has to score a 60% minimum marks in both the exam to be considered as
a qualified student in the exam .
REET Selection
Process - Interview
Once a candidate qualified the Level 1 Exam or the level 2
Exam as per their choice of level, they're summoned for next level of process
i.e. REET Interview. This interview round is especially to check the
temperament, personality of the candidate with reference to the profession
.Once the interview process is completed, the selected candidates become
licensed government teachers.
What is the REET
Salary in 2021?
You will get the details of the 3rd Grade Teacher’s salary
in the notification when it is released. However, we do have previous years
data and recruitment details with us so
we can expect the basic salary package. The expected salary of REET Grade 3
Teachers is Rs. 23,700. This figure is as per the Level 10 of Pay Matrix in the
7th Pay Commission.
