Shri K.G. Nadgir College of Physical Education, established by Late Shri K.G. Nadgir in 1956, is the pioneering teacher education college in physical education in entire north Karnataka.�The college is affiliated to the Karnatak University, Dharwad since 1974 to offer Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) and was lead by Dr. Anand Nadigr till 2012.� Major goal of the college is to prepare effective and efficient leaders (teachers) in physical education and sports to teach in schools.�The college is very well recognized in this part of Karnataka offering the best programme with diverse activities required to be leaders in the profession.�The college has compact infrastructure facilities with a huge gymnasium, halls for weight training, aerobics, yoga etc, a well furnished modern lecture hall, computerized library, and computer laboratory with internet & multimedia facilities.�The faculty of the college is very well trained and most experienced.
