Founded in 2006 this college of education has been started to commemorate the life and teachings of Sikh Great Master Shri Guru Harkrihsan ji. He dedicated his life for the amelioration of human suffering. He taught us that service to God was through service to mankind. The college is managed by Shri Guru Nanak Mission Educational Trust Jagadhri. Students passing out from this institution of excellence will be shaping the coming generations through devotion, dedication in educating our society and inculcating human values. The college aims at providing equal opportunity to all. The college motto “Perseverance will Triumph” clearly indicates its goals and missions. The college offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Education (D.Ed) with an annual intake of two units and one unit student respectively. The college is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and affiliated to Kuruksherta University Kurukshetra and SCERT, Haryana (Gurgaon). In January 2011 the college was accredited with Grade ‘B’ Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.63 by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore. In August 2011 the college has been granted Minority Status by Department of Higher Education Haryana.
