Sardar Patel College of Education, Bakrol was established by Tirupati Foundation trust in 2008, with the efforts of Chairman, Shri Girish Patel and Secretary, Shri Shital Patel. Sardar Patel College of Education is affiliated with Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidhyanagar and is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It has been offering undergraduate program in Education. It has made a pioneering contribution in the field of education and has imparted value-based, quality education to generations of teacher-trainee ensuring that they are in tune with tomorrow. We at SPCE believe in expanding the horizons of our teacher-trainee, faculty, staff as well as people at large through multifarious activities-in order to groom model citizens of state and country. Our Vision is to produce teachers dedicated to professional values who can contribute through the expertise with missionary zeal for the nation.

The duration for the course is for two year as per the rules and regulation of NCTE 2014. This college has been alloted two units, each consisting of 50 teacher-trainees. Hundred B.Ed trainees learns pedagogical skills in subjects like Mathematics, Science, English, Gujarati, Sanskrit, Hindi, Commerce, Economics, Accountancy and Social science etc. We provide facilities like science lab, Psychology lab, Library and reading room, Computer lab-ICT resource center, Curriculum lab, Art and Craft lab for development of teacher-trainees. Teacher Trainees participate in many Extracurricular and Co-Curricular Activities at Intra college, In ter college and university level activities. they participate in cricket, volleyball, kabbadi, Youth festival etc and they won prizes and awards at highest level. In our college every year maximum students participate in youth festival. Besides these, there are many other activities such as N.S.S activity, Swachhata Abhiyan, HIV Awareness program, Blood donation camp, tree plantation and Annual function program etc., for giving social and cultural development.
