The institute is set up to produce self-motivated and self reliant young pharmacists catering to the needs of Industry, Academia and Research. To create a centre of excellence for R&D in the field of pharmaceutical science with inter disciplinary approach in emerging area of Science and Technology with focus on Industry-Academia interaction and cooperation at National and International level.
Mission
SPSRC aims to become a centre of excellence in providing high quality education, training and research to individuals in acquiring extensive knowledge in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and skills in scientific research so that they can enrich their lives, develop their confidence and become respectable and useful members of society and contribute further in the enhancement of the nation.
The Institute also targets to serve the society by preparing outstanding pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists to meet the health care needs of diverse populations; enhancing human health by the creation and dissemination of knowledge through discovery, development, and evaluation of drugs and drug delivery systems, optimization of safe and effective drug use; and, developing and translating into practice new advances in pharmaceutical science and technology.
