Kasaragod Institute of Medical Sciences - KIMS Admission Open
Kasaragod Institute of Medical Sciences (formerly known as Kasaragod Nursing Home) was established by a group of doctors with the goal of providing quality medical care and service to the society in August 1980 with 20 beds.
It was inaugurated by Dr. A. Subba Rao, the then Minister for Major irrigation, Govt. of Kerala.
With the continued support of the public of Kasaragod, the hospital grew in stages to the present 200 bedded hospital.
The KIMS school of nursing was started on 2002 and is presently recognized by Kerala Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council.
The state of art Out-Patient Block was commissioned in 2004.
The "Silver Jubilee" of the Institution was celebrated in a fitting manner in 2006
