Kurji Holy Family Hospital (KHFH), Patna was privileged to open the first College of Nursing in Bihar. The College is affiliated to the Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU). This new university was established in 2010 and is located Chanakya National Law University Campus,Near Mithapur Bus Stand, Mithapur,Patna-800 001. This university grants affiliation only to professional programmes like Nursing, Pharmacy, Medicine, Engineering, Business Administration and Computer Application. The university gives a Bachelor’s Degree for Post Basic(B.Sc Nursing).
The college permits only thirty (30)
students per year. Post
Basic B.Sc. Nursing course is of two years duration and only GNM students are eligible. The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has permitted the college to begin a four year graduate programme (Basic B.Sc Programme) from July 2013.The Government is serious about educating the girls of Bihar and forming them into responsible and committed professionals of Bihar and India. We also join hands with the Government in this endeavour.
