B.b. College Admission 2024-25, Admission Online Process, Yoga Day

It was perhaps a nectary moment of that Friday afternoon of 25th May 1984 when a handful of local enthusiast set down to write the recorded history of this insignificant place when they laid down the foundation stone of a College at Baiganbadia. 'Then 11'ho knew this infant institution would grow up to such gigantic size and Curve a special niche in the educational map of Orissa But l0 ! the humble beginning with only four students, crossed the fifteen hundred mark in its stride. And today, after an elapse of twenty years the College basks in the pride of being the first aided Degree College of Orissa and the only aided Degree College in Mayurbhanj under 1994 Grant-in-aid order. Today the College is popularly known both as BB College and Baba Bahia College named after the holy man Baba Bahia. The College is Conveniently located at a distance of12 KM. only from Baripada, the District Metropolis of Mayurbhanj. It is the only Degree College of Juliana  Block. There are nice road and rail communication to the College. In either case, it is only half of a kilometer from NH:-5 Baiganbadin Bus-stop or Kuchai railway halt. Of Course, the rail communication is presently snapped.   'Today there are all the three streams of Arts, Science and Commerce both at+ 2 and + 3 levels and a Govt -Vocational Wing for vocational education. The College has very well-equipped Science laboratories and a Magnificent College library and a reading room. The College is already in the run for opening honors Courses in different subjects with qualified staff members. 'today the College has 48 teaching staff members and 26 nonteaching staff members. Nobel folks like Smt. Saraswati Hembraml Ex-Minister and Ex MAL, Sri.Ananta Prasad Jitbabu, Sri Bairagi Mishra, Sri Jalandhar Patra, Sri Nepal Chandra Bose and many others adorned different post in the Governing Body of the College while Sri Kedar Chandra Nayak remained the Secretary GB for both the Wings till the charges were handed Over It is, however, needless to exaggerate the great and timely assistance of Sri KC Soren, Ex MLA Juliana , Ex MP  Mayurbhanj; and Sri Birabhadra Singh, MP Rajya Sabha . 'The College also expects the same from the young and dynamic leader Sri Sananda Marandi, the sitting MLA Juliana. It would, hoverer, be ungrateful of us not to acknowledge the contributions and co-operation of all the members of the G.B.  Staff of the College the Co-operate local public and above all the students and guardians. 'The College has a grief of not possessing a good playground nevertheless the College has earned the unique distinction of being the only College of the Orissa Council to become the 'Three-times Champion of the CHSE, Orissa. the. The college has also appreciating shined inVni1'ersity sports several times. Today, after an elapse of twenty years, the little loving baby of yester years has reached 'the pinnacle of its glory so rapidly that is has turned to be a trial of our strengths to maintain this hard-earned prize. The Unity, Cooperation, and the 'teamwork have yielded in rich dividends. 'The new and progressive our looks: have played their roles in the success of the College. Let aside its imposing buildings, a maiden visit will make you exclaim- So near yet so exquisite.
