Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMT) offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and other courses in the domain of Management. The institute is located in Bhubaneswar city of Orissa state. BIMT was formed in the year 2013. Set in a vast space of about 30 acres of land, this sister institution with its majestic buildings at Bhubaneswar, the college aims to serve the Higher Education needs of Odisha, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Sikkim And Tripura. The choice of Bhubaneswar as a destination has been motivated by the immense natural and human resources of the Eastern States in general and the emergence of the capital city as a destination for Higher Education in Eastern India in particular. BITM renders courses in the field of media, mass communication and management sciences viz. BBA, MJMC, PGDM. Envisions "to be known for developing ethical global leaders and entrepreneurs striving for sustainability and inclusive growth." The mission of the institute is to "be the preferred choice for students, faculty and recruiters, and to create and disseminate knowledge in global context".
