established Arts and Commerce First Grade College in the year 1987. The

Bapuji Grameen Vikas Samiti, the parent Institute of our college was

established under the guidance of Shri Prabhakar S. Rane a great visionary,

educationist, and a committed ideologist. His commitment is to realize the

dream of Mahatma Gandhi “Gram Rajya Se Rama Rajya Tak ”.

Our college is affiliated to the Karnataka University, Dharwad. It is included

under section 2 (f) and 12 (B) of UGC Act in December 2002, and recognized by

the Commissionarate of Higher Education, Govt. of Karnataka as one of the

LEAD Colleges in Uttar- Kannada district. And District Nodal College by

Karnataka University Dharwad. Our College is committed to provide adequate

infrastructural facility, well-qualified teaching and administrative staff for

creating an effective learning- teaching centre of repute.
