After the establishment of the MES medical college in the year 2003, the next area on which the management put its thrust was on starting a Nursing College in the Medical College Campus itself as a feeder unit for the medical college so as to ensure that highly proficient nursing care can also be made possible in the hospital if we could ourselves mould nurses in our own institution in close proximity to our hospital and utilize them for our hospital Medicare unit. Accordingly MES College of nursing came into existence in the year 2004 with the approval of Nursing Council of India, Kerala Nurses and midwives council and affiliation of the University of Calicut. The in-take of the students for the Bsc Nursing Course is 50.The First batch of our Nursing College has passed out from the college in 2009 and in the MES Medical College as interns staff nurses. Our Nursing College has the rare distinction of being the first and only Nursing College that is attached to medical college for providing clinical facilities for its students in Malappuram district.

MES college of nursing is functioning in an exclusive four storied building with a spacious class room, most modern teaching technology, administrative office and well-equipped laboratories for fundamentals of nursing, community health Nursing,Nutrition,Anatomy,Physiology and computer science. An excellent and scientifically classified library with a large number of essential periodical provides facilities to the student to do their reference and research work. Apart from the Academic proficiency the aim at developing the cultural and sports talents of our student by giving them ample facilities and opportunities in those areas as well. A terms of highly qualified, well experienced and totally committed faculty members bestow their personal care and attention on the overall development of our student.
