Prof. Karamjit Singh retired from the State College Of Education in Feb. 1976. He Started a school named “Kay Jay Model School” with the aim that education is imparted to all.Every year new class was added.At the time of his death in Feb 1989 the school with impart education up to matric. The school was named “Kay Jay Model High School”.

In 1990 Society named “Kay Jay Model School Management & Welfare Society ” was formed and process of affiliation started. In 1991 school get affiliation up to middle and association up to matric and in 1992 school was get affiliated up to matric.Society started distance education courses from Punjabi university and iase university in 2002 for helping to improve qualification of employed person. In 2003 society thought of flourishing education in rural areas. For the purpose of land to construct school up to 12th class was purchased and building constructed. The school was named kay jay senior secondary school which was got affiliated with pb.s.ed .bd in 2004. After adding more infrastructure a college named Kay Jay School Of Management & Technology was started for BBA & BCA and got affiliated with PTU Jallandhar in 2008. In 2009 college named Kay Jay College Of Education was started for B.E.d course and got affiliated with Pbi University Patiala & approved by NCTE
