It was established in the year 1979 and was affiliated to Department of Higher Education, Odisha and Berhampur University. The dream came true,exactly on 13 August 1979. Around 5 kms away from the hill-temple of tara tarini,having named after the Goddesses on the picturesque bank of holy Rushikulya,the College was established and it was officially inaugurated by Late Brundaban Nayak,the then MLA, Hinjili on the same date.
