The Area Of Operation Of The Association Is Including The Meppayur And Thurayur Panchayaths Of Koyilandy Taluk, Kozhikode District.
Salafiyya Association Started Functioning By Establishing An Arabic College At Meppayur Campus During The Year 1974. We Are Celebrating The 38 Years Of Enchanting Service During The Year 2012. Now The Association Has An Array Of Reputed Educational Institutions Like Avah Arts & Science College, Salafi College Of Teacher Education, Salafi Higher Secondary School, Salafiyya Arabic College, Salafi Teacher Training Institute, Salafi College Of Enginnering And Private Iti, Salafi Nursery School, Etc., Functioning In Meppayur And Kuluppa Campuses. There Are Around One Thousand Five Hundred Students Studying For Different Courses In Our Institution. All These Institutions Are Self Financing And Recognised By The Government Of Kerala. Fee Collected In These Institutions Is In Accordance With The Rules And Regulations Of The Government. There Are Three Masjids Established At The Two Campuses For Worship. Hostel Facilities Are Provided At Kuluppa Campus For Both Boys And Girls. We Render Almost All Helps To The Poor Students By Allowing Fee Concession, Providing Free Hostel Facilities, Etc. Study Of Arabic Is Completely Free.
We Are Planning To Start Several Educational, Social And Cultural Programmes In Future For The Welfare Of The Society As A Whole, Without Considering Caste And Creed. Starting A Polytechnic College In The Kuluppa Campus Is Prime Among Them. We Will Start M.Com. Course During The Academic Year 2012-13 Itself As The University Of Calicut Has Given Affiliation.
