Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College Anandpur Sahib was established by the untiring and unstinted efforts of Sant Mahinder Singh Harkhowalwale in 1968 to commemorate the unique martyrdom of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur, the 9th Guru of Sikhs, for the cause of humanity and nation. His is a supreme and unparalleled sacrifice in the annals of human history for the cause of secularism.The College was taken over by Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC),Sri Amritsar,in 1977. It is an honour and privilege to be associated with this college wihich has been forging ahead as a multi-faculty institute of higher education catering to the needs of the students in various streams like basic science, humanities,commerce,computer science and agriculture. The Collece offers a wide variety of  undergraduate and post graduate courses, and keeps on adding new courses in accordance with the pulse of time.
