The college was founded by great visionary late Sant Baba Uttam Singh Ji, on the occasion of Quincentenary celebration of the birth of first Sikh Master Sri Guru Nanak Dev in 1970. The mission of the college is to spread the light of knowledge in this educationally backward area. The college is now progressing under the benign patronage of Baba Sewa Singh Ji.
