The pharmacy profession comprising of the industrial and pharmacy practice, is undergoing rapid change. As the Indian pharma industry is practically galloping at faster pace to catch up with the global market and register a significant presence in global scenario, the demand for well qualified and technologically trained professional pharmacists has increased many folds in recent years.

In the year 2006, VJSM ventured into degree course in pharmacy under dynamic leadership of the management of VJSMand established Vishal Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (VIPER) at Ale offering B. Pharm. degree course affiliated to the University of Pune.

The college also commenced M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutics (2010) & Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance (2011) approved by University of Pune and AICTE.

The fundamentals of theoretical and practical base of Pharmaceutical Sciences are taught to the students from first year to fourth year. Imparting quality education to the students of rural area is the objective of VJSM and its conducted institutes. The faculty and management are striving hard to maintain the high standards of courses offered by the Vishal Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research and all round development of students.
