Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan Institute of Criminology & Forensic Science(LNJN NICFS), Delhi was established in 1972 and recognized by UGC. This is the only institution providing comprehensive facilities for training, teaching and research in both the Criminology and Forensic Science under one roof. The institute maintains constant, symbiotic and purposeful interaction with academics and scientists of disciplines relevant to the criminal justice process.

The aim of the college act as a center of in-service training for officers in police, judiciary and correctional services and also others engaged in the criminal justice system and its allied fields and to provide facilities for certificate and diploma courses in the various relevant subjects and to act as a reference body in the fields of Criminology and Forensic Science for all national as well as international institutions and provide all information to workers engaged in various studies in these fields.
