ecnia Institute of Art & Design, a premier art educational Institute of its own kind for visual and performing art, was established in 2004. It is affiliated to Indira Kala Sangit Vishwavidyalaya (IKSV), Khairagarh (Chattisgarh). The University was established in 1956 under UGC, Ministry of HRD, Government of India, with an objective to revive the ancient Indian forms of art and culture. It is the only University of music and fine arts in South East Asia. After making a landmark in the field of professional education, Institute 's inclination towards Indian Art and Culture led to the conception of Tecnia Institute of Art & Design.
Practicing art is sadhana. Tecnia Institute of Art & Design welcomes all 'sadhak' students interested in different art forms. The sadhak who comes to the Institute will be intellectually enlightened, academically trained and professionally equipped to face the challenges of the modern world. The courses offered are not hobby courses for art sake only. They are professional courses like other courses in computer and management, which assure job security.
