The programme offered under the aegis of Amity Institute of Anthropology (AIA) is B.Sc. (H) Anthropology (Three year course consisting of six semesters), M.Sc. Anthropology (Two-year professional course consisting of four semesters), Ph.D In Anthropology (Two Years Full –Time & Three years Part-time ) and introducing two new Post Graduate Diploma Programmes in Population Genetics and Public Health (One year course consisting of two semesters) and Tribal and Rural Health Management (One year course consisting of two semester)

The courses are so structured as to provide an active learning experience, utilizing a problem-solving framework, rather than utilize a particular theory or set of methods. A particular problem is discoursed and analyzed in order to understand it and a remedy is planned that helps in its alleviation. All these courses would provide training to students towards making them professional anthropologists.

Amity assists in developing interdisciplinary and professional skills in the graduate and postgraduate students along with imbibing ethical and moral values in them and to develop a core competency that enables individuals in their personal and professional growth.

Ensuring a successful career path for the students, AIA has been actively engaged in providing students with lucrative employment opportunities .Many of our students who have completed their courses are now undertaking internship in reputed Governmental organizations like Anthropological Survey of India (ASI), Archeological Survey of India, National Institute of Public Corporation and Child Development (NIPCCD) and also in NGOs, some permanently placed as well.
