Amity Institute of Nanotechnology (AINT) is one of the world’s leading research and academic Institutes, established in 2003, pioneered in undergraduate (UG) and post graduate (PG) programs, strictly follows UGC guidelines. Today it boasts to have twenty one nationally and internationally acclaimed faculty members with excellent scientific background. The eminent faculty takes care of teaching and training the students in the frontier areas of nanotechnology and they have drawn a noteworthy syllabus for the entire course. The students are given hands on training on equipment and constant academic and research guidance by the celebrated academic/scientific body. AINT offers the education needed for leadership in today’s rapidly changing world. It offers seven academic programs at UG, PG and Doctoral levels: B.Sc., B.Tech., dual degree B.Tech.-M.Tech., M.Sc., M.Tech., dual degree M.Sc.-M.Tech., Ph.D. in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.

The interdisciplinary research in AINT specializes in different aspects of nanotechnology in physical, chemical, biological and agricultural sciences and focuses on development of materials for energy, nano-bio sensors, photo-catalytic materials for water mission, nanostructured functional surfaces, applications of nanomaterials in healthcare, agriculture, food and forensic sciences. It houses adequate laboratory infrastructure for the conventional experiments and emerging research areas. The students are provided ample opportunities to go to leading national and international institutes/laboratories for their dissertation work. AINT has numerous international collaborations/MoUs for student’s dissertation, academic exchange and research. In past few years AINT has shown exponential growth in research with more than 200 research papers, 19 extramural research grants worth 425 lakhs, 50 patents and one technology transfer.
