The Institute was first established as Food Craft Institute in the year 1996 was upgraded to the Institute of Hotel Management in the year 2001. It is setup by the Department of Tourism, Govt. of Rajasthan and affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, NOIDA, an apex body under the ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. It is situated in the heart of Suncity having 6.5acre of sprawling campus with separate girls and boys hostel and indoor & outdoor sports facility. Besides, there are three Kitchens, one Restaurant, Library, Guest Room, Conference Room, Training Bar, Front Office, House Keeping and Computer Lab, Hostel Facility. IHM, Jodhpur offers most comprehensive professional programs where students are trained in the field of hospitality operation and administration are groomed to be the leader to take up the mantle of the Industry by the dedicated and experienced faculty with the blend of Industry and Teaching excellence.
