       H.P.P.C Government First Grade College is located in Challakere city (popularly known as oil city) about 30 kms from the historical city Chitradurga, Karnataka state. The city is well connected by road (SH-48, SH-19 and near to NH-13, NH-04) and railway between Bellary and  Chikkajajoor junctions. The college facilitating as the premier institution for the people in surrounding rural areas with poor economical  background.
