Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara Mahavidyapeetha popularly known as JSS Mahavidyapeetha [JSSMVP] was established during 1954 and has the history of about 1000 years. The vision of His Holiness has triggered an education revolution which brought about an excellent blend of the traditional culture with modern science, leading to total personality development of individuals through a network of over three hundred educational institutions, propagating both cultural education and modern multi-disciplinary professional education. It aims to strengthen the roots of our ancient knowledge, wisdom and culture and their application in the day to day life.
Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara Institute of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences [JSSINYS] was established in the 1997 in the picturesque landscape of Ooty, by JSSMVP, Mysore. To meet the increasing demand, the college and hospital was shifted to Navakkarai, Coimbatore in 2010. The college and hospital is located in a serene wooded 55 acres campus surrounded by mountains. JSSINYS is recognized and affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai and is approved by Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy [CCRYN] and National Institute of Naturopathy [NIN], under Dept. of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India
